For the past 17 years, Alex has analyzed real estate market conditions and development feasibility, neighborhood economic development opportunities and funding sources, and economic impacts associated with a wide range of development types on behalf of governments, non-profits, and developers throughout North America. Prior to founding Stokes Urban Strategies, Alex was a Principal at HR&A Advisors’ New York City and Chicago offices and served the firm’s in-house training lead for real estate and economic analysis. Alex spent 9 years teaching implementation strategies for urban redevelopment to graduate students at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design.
