Stokes Urban Strategies, LLC is a consulting firm founded in 2024 by Alex Stokes that is focused on complex real estate and economic development analytics in support of projects that improve the quality of life and success of urban communities. For the past 17 years, Alex has analyzed real estate market conditions and development feasibility, neighborhood economic development opportunities and funding sources, and economic impacts associated with a wide range of development types on behalf of governments, non-profits, and developers throughout North America. Prior to founding Stokes Urban Strategies, Alex was a Principal at HR&A Advisors’ New York City and Chicago offices and served the firm’s in-house training and methodologies lead for real estate and economic analysis.  Alex spent 9 years teaching implementation strategies for urban redevelopment to graduate students at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design.
